Because it is corded, the practical limit is the 100-foot cord. Within that radius you have unlimited runtime, no battery to drain mid-job, which on a long leaf day is exactly what you want.
It is reasonably quiet next to a gas blower, enough that I do not feel like I am declaring war on the neighborhood on a Sunday morning. The cord management is the only ongoing annoyance, and a good extension cord and a little discipline solve most of it.

Not for the area within 100 ft of an outdoor outlet, which on most suburban properties is most of the front and side yards. For the back of a half acre you may need a 150 ft cord and an outdoor-rated extension. We ran our test lot from a single garage outlet without issue.
