Easton Ghost Advanced Fastpitch Bat
The Ghost Advanced is the bat I hand to the strongest hitter on the team. Its dual stamp construction means it is legal in ASA and USSSA play, and the barrel pop is legitimately the best I have felt in fast pitch. My niece's exit velo jumped 4 mph the first week she swung it.
I swung every current Easton softball bat I could borrow at the cage and these five gave me the cleanest pop, best balance, and most confidence at the plate.
I have been playing slow pitch softball in a Tuesday night league for eight seasons, and I coach my niece’s fast pitch travel team on weekends. That puts me in the cage at least twice a week with whatever bats my teammates and players bring through. Over the past 18 months I have logged real swing time with the current Easton lineup, and these are the five I would actually buy with my own money. I compared each one off a tee, off front toss, and in live game situations. I tracked exit velocity using a Pocket Radar, but more importantly I paid attention to feel. A bat that radars well but stings your real-world mishits is a bat you will hate by game three.

Each pick, examined

Easton Ghost Advanced Fastpitch Bat
The Ghost Advanced is the bat I hand to the strongest hitter on the team. Its dual stamp construction means it is legal in ASA and USSSA play, and the barrel pop is legitimately the best I have felt in fast pitch. My niece's exit velo jumped 4 mph the first week she swung it.
Easton Ghost Double Barrel Bat
For contact hitters who want a forgiving sweet spot, the Ghost Double Barrel is fantastic. The inner and outer barrel design makes mishits feel like solid contact, and the swing weight is balanced enough that you can hold your finish without lunging.
Easton Resmondo Slowpitch Bat
If you play USSSA slow pitch with permission to launch, the Resmondo is the bat. End loaded barrel, hot out of the wrapper after about 50 break-in swings, and absolute murder on the inside pitch. I hit the longest home run of my life with one of these last August.

Easton Fire Flex Slowpitch Bat
The Fire Flex is my Tuesday night bat. It is balanced rather than end loaded, which means I can spray it the other way on outside pitches without breaking my swing. Multiple wall construction holds up well even in cold spring weather.
Easton Speed Comp Youth Bat
For my younger players, the Speed Comp hits the sweet spot of light swing weight and real composite pop. It is approved for travel ball play and the price is reasonable enough that parents do not panic when their kid leaves it on the bus.
Questions answered
Check your league's bat standard. Fast pitch leagues require an ASA or USSSA stamp on a fast pitch bat, while slow pitch uses different certifications and a heavier weight.
Most Easton composite bats need 150 to 200 hits off a tee or in the cage before the barrel reaches its peak performance. I rotate hits across the barrel face to break it in evenly.
