Yes. Four of the five test tanks use infrared battle systems. When hit, the receiving tank registers damage and stops firing after three lives are spent.

Are these toys safe for kids?

All five are rated 8 plus. The BB shooting models can sting at close range, so we used the IR battle mode for indoor play and kept BBs for outdoor only.
