Smart features: the app actually adds value
The VeSync app connected to a 2.4 GHz network in 2 minutes 45 seconds from a cold setup. The live temperature display in the app updated in real time, accurate to within 2 degrees of the physical panel reading. I used the remote monitoring during 40-minute roasting sessions to check progress without getting up from a desk, and on two occasions I extended the cook time remotely when the food needed more time.
The 50 preset recipes in the app are genuinely calibrated. The chicken thigh preset (400 F, 22 minutes, flip reminder at 11 minutes) produced properly cooked thighs with crispy skin on three separate tests. Air fry performance: strong for a toaster oven
