Concrete tips

• 80-lb bag = ~0.6 cubic feet when mixed. We add a 10% waste factor.
• Slab thickness: 4" for walkways and patios, 6" for driveways, 8"+ for heavy traffic.
• Post holes: Depth should be 1/3 of post height above ground (a 6 ft post needs a 2 ft hole) and below frost line.
• Curing: Keep wet 7 days for full strength. Don't pour below 40°F or above 90°F without admixtures.
