Why you should trust this review

We bought the Boon Lawn at retail in August 2025 for $20 after the dish towel under our wet bottle parts grew visible mildew within a week. The Lawn replaced the dish towel and has not been replaced since. Boon did not provide a sample.

How we tested the Boon Lawn

  • Used daily across 9 months for two adult-baby households.
  • Dried 8 to 10 bottle parts and a full Spectra pump set most nights.
  • Cleaned the drainage tray every 2 to 3 days, dishwasher run monthly.
  • Inspected blades for mildew, discoloration and wear under direct light.

Who should buy the Boon Lawn?

Buy it if you are pumping or bottle-feeding daily and want a dedicated drying spot that does not grow mildew. Buy it also if your counter space is limited and a full dish rack does not fit. Skip it if you only wash a single bottle per day, where a simple dish towel covers it.

Why the lawn-of-spikes design works

The flexible silicone blades hold parts upright with their open end down. Every blade contacts air on all sides, so water evaporates faster than on a flat rack. Parts air-dry in about 45 minutes for thin items like nipples and rings, around 90 minutes for full bottle bodies. Flanges and breast shells dry in roughly an hour.

Mildew resistance: the real long-term test

Across 9 months we have not seen any mildew on the blades. The silicone is non-porous, the blades dry between cycles, and the drainage tray catches water that would otherwise pool. The rack remains visibly clean under direct light.

Verdict

The Boon Lawn is the right bottle drying rack for any pumping or bottle-feeding household in 2026. Cheap, durable and mildew-free.

★ FINAL VERDICT

Should you buy the Boon Lawn Countertop Drying Rack?

The Boon Lawn is the rack that lives on every pumping mom's counter for a reason. The flexible silicone blades hold bottle parts, pump flanges, breast shells and pacifiers without tipping, the drainage tray pulls out for daily rinse, and after 9 months of constant exposure to wet silicone parts we have seen zero mildew growth. The footprint at 12 by 6 inches replaces the dish towel that used to soak our counter, and the lawn-of-spikes design air-dries parts faster than wire racks because every blade contacts air on all sides.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Boon Lawn worth $19 in 2026?+

Yes. Nine months of daily use, no replacement needed, no mildew. The Boon Lawn has the best mildew resistance of any drying rack we have tested across multiple babies. The flexible silicone blades also hold pump flanges that wire racks cannot.

Does the silicone trap mildew?+

Not if you remove the drainage tray every 2 to 3 days and rinse it. The blades themselves air-dry between uses and do not trap moisture. We have never seen visible mildew across 9 months. A monthly dishwasher cycle keeps it spotless.

Can it hold a full Spectra pump set?+

Yes. Two flanges, two duckbills, two backflow protectors, two collection bottles and one set of tubing fits comfortably with room left for bottle parts. This is the rack we recommend specifically for exclusive pumpers.
