Why you should trust this review
I cover home appliances and small robotics. Our team bought the SwitchBot K10+ Mini at full retail in January 2026. SwitchBot had no advance copy.
Over 4 months the K10+ Mini ran roughly 5 cleanings per week in a 720 sq ft apartment, plus a controlled comparison test in our 1,800 sq ft house against the Eufy RoboVac G40+ and Yeedi Vac Max.
How we tested the K10+ Mini
Compact robot protocol, 60 days minimum, here 130 hours over 4 months:
- Debris pickup (hardwood): 8 grams mixed. Result: 86%.
- Debris pickup (low-pile carpet): Result: 78%.
- Debris pickup (medium-pile carpet): Result: 73%, suction is the bottleneck.
- Furniture clearance: 12 in clearance chair test. Result: cleared all 12, no other robot we own cleared more than 8.
- Battery life: Balanced on hardwood. Result: 120 minutes exact.
- Dock automation: Result: 31 days between bag swaps in a 1-bedroom.
Who should buy the K10+ Mini
The K10+ Mini is the right robot for you if:
- You live in a studio or 1-bedroom under 900 sq ft.
- You have low chair clearance and want a robot that gets under everything.
- You want a quiet robot you can run during meetings.
It is not for you if:
- You have medium or high-pile carpet, 2,500 Pa is not enough.
- You want one robot to vacuum and mop.
- You have a large 2,000+ sq ft home, the small bin needs more frequent swaps.
Pickup performance
86% on hardwood, 78% on low-pile carpet, 73% on medium-pile. Suction is the obvious ceiling, but on flat floors the K10+ Mini holds its own against full-size budget robots.
Furniture clearance
The 9.8 in diameter is the headline feature. It cleared our 12-in chair legs without bumping, fit under a sofa with 4.0 in clearance, and went under an IKEA Hemnes bed where our Roborock had to navigate around it.
Noise
48 dB in Whisper mode. We ran the robot during 6 video calls in 4 months and no caller noticed it was running.
Battery and runtime
Rated 120 minutes, measured 120 minutes exact. Charge time: 3 hours empty to full.
Long-term durability after 4 months
- Brushroll spins freely.
- Battery measures 118 minutes, less than 2% degradation.
- Side brushes replaced once at month 3 (normal wear, $9 set).
- No firmware bricks, dock has not jammed.
Value
At $399 the SwitchBot K10+ Mini is the right Home & Kitchen in 2026.

Should you buy the SwitchBot K10+ Mini?
The SwitchBot K10+ Mini is the smallest self-emptying robot vacuum we have tested at 9.8 inches across, and it goes where every other robot we own gets stuck. After 4 months it pulled 86% pickup on hardwood, ran 120 minutes per charge, and emptied itself for 31 days untouched. At $399 it is the right robot for studios, condos, and any home with a lot of chair legs.
Frequently asked questions
Is the K10+ Mini worth $399 in 2026?+
Yes, if you live in a small space with a lot of furniture. The 9.8 in diameter is the only robot in this comparison that fit under our dining chairs and our IKEA Hemnes bed without the side brushes clipping. If you have a large open floor plan, the [Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra](/reviews/roborock-s7-maxv-ultra) is the better robot.
Does it mop?+
No. The K10+ Mini is a vacuum only. If you want both jobs in one robot for under $400, look at the [Yeedi Vac Max](/reviews/yeedi-vac-max-robot).
How small is the dock?+
The dock holds a 1.0 L bag, less than half the volume of a Roomba i7+ dock. In our 1-bedroom test, we got 31 days between bag swaps. In a 2-bedroom home expect 15 to 20 days.
Is the LiDAR good enough for mapping?+
Yes. The K10+ Mini built a complete map of our 720 sq ft apartment in 12 minutes on first run, accurate to within 6 in. Zone cleaning and Keep Out lines work the same as on larger SwitchBot robots.
